How do I book dog boarding at Arlington Dog Daycare & Boarding?

You can reserve your dog’s stay by using our online booking system, https://www.ArlingtonDogDaycare.com/ click on LOG IN, or text/call us at (972) 204-5835. We recommend booking early during holidays and peak travel seasons, as dog boarding fills quickly.

Do you accept last-minute boarding reservations?

We do our best to accommodate last-minute dog boarding requests based on availability, but keep in mind that we require a temperament test for dogs over 30 lbs. This should be done in advance of your reservation. Please text or call us for same day availability (214) 210-6373

Is there a waitlist if dog boarding is full?

Yes! Especially for the Holidays. If we’re fully booked, we can place your dog on a waitlist and notify you if space becomes available. We recommend our customers book in advance to guarantee a spot for their pups.

Do you send pictures?

Yes, we aim to send daily pawgress reports with pictures at no cost during your dog's stay. Some days may be difficult due to seasonality or call-outs from staff, but we are able to do them most of the time.

Dog Boarding Vaccination Requirements

What vaccines are required for dog boarding and daycare?

For the safety of all guests, we require:

• Rabies

• Distemper (DHPP)

• Bordetella

• Influenza (most vets do not require this so we may allow a grace period for new customers) 

All vaccinations must be current prior to arrival. As well as for them to be on a heartworm, flea & tick treatment. These vaccination requirements help maintain a healthy environment for all dogs in our care. We are a group play facility, so please know that it is impossible to fully prevent the spread of illnesses due to nose-to-nose touching, but we do the best we can.

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?

Dogs that are intact and under the age of one year are eligible for group play based on availability and a temperament test. Dogs that are intact and over the age of one are not eligible for group play, but they are welcome to join us for day boarding and individual play, based on availability.

Is a daycare evaluation required?

Yes. All dogs over 30 lbs, will need to do a temperament test before their stay.

The temperament test will be a free day of daycare, you can drop-off your dog starting at 7:30am and pick-up before 7:00pm. We just ask you give us a few hours to get to know your pup's behavior, likes kennel/suite depending on your reservation etc.

Dog Boarding Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

What are your boarding drop-off and pick-up hours?

Our lobby hours are:

• Monday–Sunday: 7:00am-7:00pm

Is there a late pick-up/drop-off service?

Yes, outside business hours  pick-ups and drop-offs services are available for a fee and based on availability. We are able to schedule 24/7 drop-off/pick-up based on the availability of our staff who volunteer to help.

Dog Boarding Accommodations & Suites

What types of boarding accommodations do you offer?

We provide:

• Standard dog boarding kennels 39" by 51" for dogs up to 50lbs

• Private dog boarding suites 5ft by 3ft and larger

• Family suites for multiple dogs from the same household

Can multiple dogs stay together?

Yes! Dogs from the same family can share a family suite when available.

​​

What is the difference between standard boarding and suites?

Our suites offer more space and added privacy, making them ideal for dogs +51lbs.

Daycare play it's included in your boarding stay price.

Do you have Turf? 

We have a +2,500sqft backyard with turf, to play with all our pups!

Dog Boarding Pricing & Discounts

How much does dog boarding cost in Arlington?

Boarding rates start at $52 per night. Pricing may vary based on accommodation type and season. Many of our competitors don't offer pawgress reports but their rates still start at $70.

We offer affordable boarding packages, for all budgets.

30 Daycare Credits Package $900
 

Boarding Standard Kennel 39" Packages
30 Nights Package $1,400

Boarding Suite 5x3ft Packages

30 Credits $1,750

Packages have an 18 month expiration date after purchase, no Holiday rate for packages

*Packages are paid upfront of your boarding reservation, they cannot be added to your current reservation. Packages are non-refundable.

Do you offer discounts for multiple dogs?

Yes, we offer multi-dog discounts for families boarding more than one dog.

Are there holiday boarding rates?

Holiday surcharges may apply during peak periods. Contact us for details. 

Due to the high demand for pet-sitting services during the holiday season, stays that include any of the following dates will be priced as Holiday Rate of $10 for 2026: Jan 1st,   May 22-25, July 3-5, Sep 4th-6th, Nov 25-29th,  and Dec 22nd-28, Dec 31st - Jan 1, 2027. Boarding Packages don't pay Holiday Rate.
 

*Pick-ups or drop-offs will not be available on the major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas eve, and New year’s day.

​Do You Have Cameras in your facility?

We have 20 indoor and outdoor cameras throughout our facility for internal use only. Because our Manager lives on site we don't stream the content of our cameras, both for her security as well as our dogs. We know that access to cameras is a common feature for many facilities, but we feel the risk is not worth it and apologize if this bothers you.

However, if at any point you would like to review footage of your dog our manager and staff have access to our cameras and can show you whatever you would like. Additionally, we are very active on Instagram and share pictures with you through our Pawgress reports.

How does a typical day looks like?

(each dog is fed individually inside their kennel)

07:00pm Bed Time (This often gets extended to 8:00, and will definitely be the case during holidays)

*If your check- in is after 4:00pm we will be unable to send you a pawgress report for that day.

 

 

What to Bring for Dog Boarding?

Should I bring my dog’s food?

Yes, we recommend bringing your dog’s regular food to avoid digestive upset. Please pre-portion meals if possible. That said, we do offer premium house food at $2/meal

Can I bring bedding or toys?

Your reservation includes blankets and beds that we wash and sanitize before each use. You may bring small comfort items, though we cannot guarantee their condition upon return.

Do you administer medications?

Yes, our trained staff can administer most medications added to their food or in a pill pocket. We do not administrate any injectable medications
